What is Live Publish? 2018-04-10T04:18:45+08:00

With the ease of using Microsoft Word, content editors can add text, photos and videos, format everything as required, and publish to HTML. It manages content from within Microsoft Word using one easy-to-use interface, and was designed to work seamlessly with SharePoint, to deliver an instantly familiar system, supporting the web content publishing process for all levels of expertise.
Live Publish publishes Word content to multiple publishing providers as either, HTML, DOCX or PDF format.
Simply open a new word document, select the Live Publish app from the Word ribbon, type your text, style it, add images and tables, and publish out as HTML, DOCX and/or PDF to our nominated web sites.
Live Publisher makes the process of creating SharePoint publishing pages simple and eliminates the need for content publishers to learn HTML: simply build your web page in Microsoft Word and publish it to your content provider.

What is a Live Publish User? 2017-08-21T01:11:58+08:00

A Live Publish User is a user who creates content using Microsoft Word and publishes it to SharePoint using the Live Publish add-in panel. Users reading published content from SharePoint do not require a Live Publish license.

Do I need a license to publish content? 2017-08-21T01:11:45+08:00

Yes! When Live Publish is loaded in to the Word panel, it checks to see if the current user is a registered and licensed user.   If not, once a user registers with Live Publish, a trial license will be issued (once only).  Once the trial has expired, Live Publish will either require the user to a) join an organisation that has licensed Live Publish, or b) purchase a license to continue publishing content.    All authors of content published to SharePoint using Live Publish are required to have a license.

Maybe! You need to request an extension to your trial by emailing sales@qualitem.com stating your trial extension request, your user name details and length of extension needed and reason why. Extension of trials is at the discretion of the Qualitem Live Publish team.
